Recently, I was in the Al Yarmook area of Sharjah, trying to cross the road near a popular restaurant. There is a pedestrian crossing located in front of it. But when does one use this crossing?

Cars zoom by on either side of the road all the time. It would be an effective crossing if there was a traffic light before it to stop the oncoming motorists.

This is a very busy road with eateries on both sides and no pedestrian crossings anywhere else.

I request the authorities to look in to this matter and do the needful. I am eagerly waiting for a crossing we can easily use to safely cross the road!

I request GN to take this issue with Sharjah Authority to install a push button signal. This is a very busy road(Street No 120) and people risk their life to cross this road.
