I have a problem with Samba credit card monthly statements. Since the card got activated I never received credit card statement from Samba. Their customer service keeps on repeating the PO Box number they have, which is correct but still I am not receiving my credit card statement. I have raised complaints to Samba and they did not provide any solution. I am being billed Dh1,500 to Dh2,000 every month for which I have no transparency. I do not want to pay them for the outstanding amount unless I get to see my credit card statement. What should I do? Can anyone help me sort this out? Appreciate if Gulf News can take up the issue.

From Mr Mohammad Shaharyar

Mr Shaharyar responds: Gulf News’ intervention helped me in a great way. After Gulf News contacted the bank, I have received several calls to resolve my complaint and proper actions were taken to resolve the issue. Thank you for raising the complaint to them, as I have tried many times but they never took such prompt and extensive actions before.
