Where’s my phone?

I request Gulf News’ assistance in getting my issue resolved with etisalat. I have been a du customer since August 2007. Recently, I was approached by etisalat representatives for a postpaid connection with a device. I went ahead with their plan. I had submitted my documents on February 4 for the same.

I was promised that I would get my device within 15 days, however, the story is completely different. I received my new etisalat Sim, which was ported from du on February 15, and was promised a Samsung Note Edge within three days. It has been one month and I have no update for the same.

When I contacted their agency (Jurassic Technologies), they didn’t have any reply. The sales person was not responding to any calls. When I visited etisalat’s business centre in Bur Dubai, they said it was not their concerned contact agency. I even registered a complaint on etisalat’s customer care number (101) last week, but have still received no update. Since there have been some issues of fraud in the market regarding such devices, my concern is whether I have been conned.

I request Gulf News’ assistance in getting this issue resolved.
