Emirates Islamic Bank (EIB) issued a credit card in my name without my request, approval or authorisation on any document. I have approached their branch in Nad Al Hammar, Dubai and contacted their call centre several times to find out who processed and issued the credit card without my consent. However, no details have been provided nor has any action been taken to cancel the card. Please help me in terms of escalating the issue.

From Mr Syed Naseeruddin

Dubai

The management of EIB responds: Our customer experience team has confirmed to Mr Naseeruddin that his card has been cancelled based on his request and that the bank has issued a liability letter to confirm the same. We regret the inconvenience caused to him and we are pleased to say that the matter is now resolved. We would like to take this opportunity to reiterate that Emirates Islamic is committed to providing the best in customer service to all our clients.
