No supplementary card yet

Despite five or six calls to HSBC, I have still not received any response as to why my daughter’s supplementary credit card has not been issued, even though it has been nearly four months since I applied. After registering a number of complaints at their call centre, I finally received a call from their representative about three weeks ago, asking me to repeat the details for the 10th time and assuring me that she would respond shortly. I have not heard anything since then even though I recorded another complaint at their call centre after the representative’s call.

They either just don’t bother to respond to recorded complaints at their call centre or, when they do call, they are not able to tell me anything about the status of my application or what has happened to the documents I handed over to their representative in November 2014. I have had a Premier account with HSBC for over 10 years with no history of a returned cheque or late payment of a credit card bill.
