Need my card settled

I am facing a serious issue, and I need the support of Gulf News to resolve my issue. I have a credit card from Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB). Due to my job loss and further financial issues, I requested the bank to settle this card eight months ago, and made the payments according to the settlement schedule given by the bank.

But an unseen mistake on my part created a payment that was short by Dh30 against this settlement. Immediately, after the settlement period in November 2014, I visited the bank to get support to close the card, but they informed me that the bank was under migration from Barclays to ADIB, and told me to come after December 2014. As per their advice, I visited the branch many times in January 2015, but they asked me to pay the total outstanding amount of Dh5,200, including the accumulated interest amount, as the settlement was cancelled due to this short payment of Dh30.

I requested the bank to consider my settlement and take the necessary steps to close the card, as this settlement was done due to serious financial difficulties that I am currently facing. But, they refused this and asked me to pay the outstanding. Now, I am requesting Gulf News to help resolve the issue in coordination with the bank officials.
