Charged over and above

I cancelled and returned my TV set-up box to etisalat’s main office in Sharjah on September 14, 2014. When I checked my bill in September, I realised that I was being charged with the same amount in October.

Then, I visited their main office again after making a complaint via email. I was assured that incorrect charges would be reversed in the next billing cycle, which has not happened even in January 2015.

Etisalat is still charging me every month for a service that they are not providing to me. Gulf News, please help me resolve this issue.

The management of etisalat responds:

The case is closed and resolved.

The complaint in brief: The customer was charged for TV regular box rental and Western choice with a base package of Dh50, even after returning the set-up box and cancelling TV plan.

The conclusion:

1. The customer complaint is valid.

2. The customer got charged due to wrong service request processed by agent.

The final outcomes:

1. The services of 3P have been deleted.

2. Dh303.33 has been refunded.

3. The customer was updated and satisfied.
