I am a loyal First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) credit card user. In January 2016, I closed my card and was assured that the change would be reflected at the Al Etihad Credit Bureau within 45 days.

However, I was looking to apply for a personal loan with another bank due to a personal emergency, and came to find out that there are two credit cards with the same limit of Dh36,100 showing up against my name.

I want to know how there are two cards against my name when I only had one? And why is it still showing up against my name in the credit report, when it was closed more than a year ago?

From Mr Neeraj V. K. V. Pillai
