In Dubai, we find facilities provided everywhere. However, inside the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), there are no bus shelters or proper pedestrian crossings. The bus stations do not have a proper waiting area or even a shaded space.

Summer is here, so I would like to request the concerned authorities to build some sheltered zones for people at the bus stop. We at least need an dedicated waiting area where we can wait for the bus, even if an air-conditioned shelter is difficult to provide.

Additionally, during office hours, the frequency of the buses needs to increase. If we miss a bus, we have to wait for a long time under the sun for the next one to arrive. People often wait across the street under the shade of trees until the bus arrives. I have seen a lot of people suffering due to this.

I have also informed the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) about this matter but no action has been taken yet. I request the concerned authorities to help in this regard. It would be of great benefit to the people who are working in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.
