Blocked card

I have been a Barclays Bank customer since 2010, and recently, my credit card was transferred to Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB). I would like to express my disappointment in their services. I was promised a replacement card over the past two months and I haven’t received any card so far. Furthermore, four weeks ago, they said they would block my card, owing to suspicious activity, but till now, they have neither blocked my card nor given me any replacement card. Every time I call ADIB for a follow up, each agent tells me new stories and it has been frustrating. I am neither able to use my credit card nor can I make payments to it. I seek Gulf News’ help for an early resolution to this case.

From Mr Justin Prince

Dubai

The management of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank responds:

We have spoken to the customer and his card has been delivered. Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention.

Mr Prince responds:

I finally got my card, after Gulf News’ intervention. Thank you so much for all the help.
