Wow! Kareena and Arjun intense in Ki and Ka

Mumbai: Ki and Ka stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor play up the romance in the first look at their upcoming film, which was released on January 2. The actors, who play a couple in the movie and are paired for the first time on screen, are shown against that perennial agent of Bollywood romance: The train.

Director R. Balki’s wife, Gauri Shinde, shared the first look on Twitter: “Here is to a fantastic 2016 to all of us! Looking forward to a super year for films #KiandKa @arjunk26 & Kareena”.

Gunday actor Arjun, 30, plays a house husband, while Jab We Met star Kapoor, 35, is his partner, who joins the workforce.

Arjun reacted to the image by saying that it was a pleasant surprise for him.

He tweeted: “So I wake up to a surprise myself...Let Kia & Kabir’s romance begin...#kiandka this summer we shall make you smile”.

The film also features veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and his wife, Jaya, in special appearance. It is slated to release on April 1, 2016.
