Indian filmgoers are getting some choice options this Eid.
Manju Warrier is back with a sports drama, Karinkunnam 6S, while Mammootty dons the khaki once again in Kasba. Jayasurya and Kunchako Boban come together again in Shahjahanum Pareekuttiyum, a fun filled entertainer.
Karinkunnam 6S, directed by Deepu Karunakaran, has Warrier playing a volleyball coach. With a cast that includes Anoop Menon, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Sudheer Karamana and Babu Antony, this is one game to look out for.
Kasba is directed by first-timer Nithin Renji Panicker, son of actor Renji Panicker, and features Mammootty and Siddique as policemen. Tamil actress Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar enters Malayalam cinema with this investigative thriller in a pivotal role.
Shahjahanum Pareekuttiyum, the story of a love triangle, is directed by Boban Samuel (of Romans fame) and has Amala Paul in the lead.
