A reader from Dubai asks: I have got an employment visa for the post of Project Engineer from a Dubai-based company. They selected me for that post four months back but took very long to process the visa. In the meantime, I got a job offer from another MNC, which has office in Jebel Ali Free Zone, and they offered me a better salary. But all of a sudden I received an employment visa from the first company. Now I do not want take up the earlier job and want to go ahead with the second company. My question is is it possible for me to get an employment visa from the second company? If yes then what will happen to the current employment visa? If no, then how can I get another employment visa from the second company? I would like to mention that at present I'm in India and the visa which I've received from first company is only a scanned copy through e-mail.

The visa which has been made by the first party, expires in two months, so the questioner is not obligated with the visa as long as he did not enter the country through such a visa.

Therefore, the reader can enter the country with the second company's visa.
