Critically-acclaimed composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi is coming to the UAE in 2018.
The Bafta-nominated musician will perform at the Dubai Opera on February 9 next year.
Einaudi’s portfolio includes a rich medley of tunes; from pop to rock and movie and TV scores. He has worked on This is England, for which he earned a Bafta nomination; The Intouchables, and the TV series Doctor Zhivago and Doctor Foster. In 2005, Einaudi was awarded the Order of the Merit of the Italian Republic, the senior order of Knighthood.
Jasper Hope, chief executive at Dubai Opera, says: “Ludovico Einaudi is a musical superstar whose compositions are loved by millions for their unique sounds and their cross-genre appeal — it will be an absolute honour to welcome him to the Dubai Opera stage in February.”
