After several rounds of auditions, 22 dancers from the dance school, Step Up Academy, have been chosen to represent the diversity of the UAE at the Disney Paris on March 28.
The dancers are set to perform a 20-minute piece, inspired by their roots, in front of a large audience in Paris.
“We are so proud to have been invited to perform on such a globally recognised stage and in doing so, represent the UAE. Our students and our dance teachers have worked incredibly hard to achieve this acknowledgement from Disneyland Paris. They are all truly passionate about dance, which has shone through during the audition period and we are confident that our group of talented youngsters are going to wow the audiences with their performance,” said Victoria Lovering from the Step Up Academy in a statement.
