Renowned Greek music composer Yanni will be back in the UAE after two years on November 6.

Al Majaz Amphitheatre in Sharjah will be the venue for the tour of his 17th album Inspirato. The album is a collaboration with opera tenor Placido Domingo and producer Ric Wake. Placido Domingo Jr, Renee Fleming, Katherine Jenkins are just a few names who have lent their voices to the album.

Described as a “new age” musician, composing music ranging from jazz to Greek, classical to rock ‘n’ roll, Yanni told tabloid! in 2013 that he refuses to be typecast.

“I do not like typos, including music. I’d say I write music and I have tremendous amount of influences from all over the world. It just comes out like that. My heart feels that. I don’t say I’m going to take some classical music and mix with some Greek music and some rock ‘n’ roll and make a song. It’s just an emotion that excites me I want to describe,” he had said.

Tickets start from Dh250 and are now available on ticketmaster.ae.
