After playing Rajinikanth’s on-screen daughter in Kabali, Tamil actress Dhansika returns to the big screen to play mother to two little girls. Titled Rani, this woman-centric story is directed by debutant S. Bani. Twins Varsha and Varnika make their cinema debut.
The audio-launch Rani was held in Chennai on November 27 in the presence of composer Ilayaraja, who has scored music for the film.
At the launch ceremony of the film, Dhansika spoke about having to learn how to drive a car in Malaysia, where the film was shot.
“At one point I was driving with the two children for a shoot and got anxious when I lost track of the crew members following me,” added the Paradesi actress.
Rani is produced by MK Films.
