Fashion Forward (FFWD) is moving. The bi-annual fashion showcase will hold its autumn-winter shows at the Dubai Design District (d3) in a custom-built space. The event’s seventh season will be a four-day event, to be held from March 31 to April 4.
The move, from its traditional home in Madinat Jumeirah, follows the event’s official endorsement by the DUubai Design and Fashion Council (DDFC).
“DDFC is proud to support Fashion Forward’s seventh edition and we look forward to an inspiring and creatively rich season,” said Amina Al Rustamani, the chairperson of the DDFC in a statement. “Initiatives like Fashion Forward Dubai are making a substantial contribution by offering regional designers the opportunity to enhance their creativity and providing a platform for emerging talent to propel their careers.”
