Adele, whose latest album "25" has smashed sales records in its first week of release, announced on Thursday she would begin a 15-week concert tour of Britain, Ireland and continental Europe in February. The tour will open on Feb 29 at the SSE Arena in Belfast and will end on June 13 at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium, a notice sent to subscribers to her website said. Other concerts will be given elsewhere in Britain and in Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and France, the notice said. Singer Adele, who is set to go on a nine-month tour later this year, will be joined by her three-year-old son, Angelo.

Simon Konecki, her partner, will attend some of the shows.

“It’s such a long time to be travelling, so Simon can’t come to every show. As well as his charity work with Drop4Drop, he also has another child from his marriage so he’ll be popping to and from the tour as and when he can,” The Sun newspaper quoted a source as saying.

“Angelo will, of course, be coming with Adele on the road, so there’ll be no after parties for the shows’ star as she’ll be on mothering duty,” the source added.
