After posting a series of online video messages in which he came down hard on film critics of the country, noted Pakistani director Syed Noor has finally decided to put the debacle of Chain Aye Na, his last release, behind him.
Sources reveal that Shah Jee (as he is reverentially called in the industry) is starting work on two film projects — a Punjabi and an Urdu feature. The latter, we hear, is titled Selfie.
Noor promises that this time he is going to be working with “new talent,” not just in terms of the film’s cast but also the technical crew. What’s more, this one won’t star Saima, his lady love who generally features in every film he makes.
