Abu Dhabi: Winners of the Mubadala Community Cup (MCC) reserved their slots at star coaching clinics to be held on the sidelines of the Mubadala World Tennis Championships (MWTC) from December 28-30, this week.
The 10th edition of the MCC presented by Healthpoint, designed to showcase the region’s best amateur players, closed with exciting finals in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in both the under-10 and adult mixed doubles divisions.
Anurag Reddy, who won the Under-14s boys’ category is already showing great potential having gone through the Mubadala Tennis in Schools programme following previous MCC victories.
The MWTC’s line-up includes; World No. 1 Rafael Nadal, 12-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic, three-time Grand Slam winner Stan Wawrinka, World No. 5 Dominic Thiem, US Open semi-finalist Pablo Carreno Busta and Wimbledon finalist Milos Raonic.
