Dubai: The World Airline Squash Tournament (WAST) will be organised by Emirates Airline from October 24-29.
Held under the patronage of Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, the annual tournament will take place at the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort in JBR from 9am to 5pm daily.
The WAST is an annual event hosted by international airlines from different countries in an attempt to bring together budding amateur squash players within the industry. In airlines circles, this tournament is recognised as one of the most important annual events on the sporting calendar.
Etihad Airways, British Airways, Kuwait Airways, Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines will join a team from hosts Emirates during this year’s competition. Each of the teams will consist of up to ten players, both men and women.
