Abu Dhabi: More than 50 of the UAE’s best street racers will bid to be crowned ‘King of the Street’ in the final of the Yas Super Street Challenge series at Yas Marina Circuit Drag Strip this weekend, April 19-20.
Open category leader Bublik Olena, will look to secure the title but faces stiff competition from Mohammad Abdul Raiham, who is hot on his heels.
Yousuf Mohammad Yousuf also needs to close out the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) category, which he leads with 1,227 points.
Five categories include; the 4x4 Super Street SUV, Index 11.5, Index 10.5, Index 9.0 and the Super Street-Open Category.
First place gets up to Dh15,000, second gets up to Dh10,000 and third takes home up to Dh5,000, with overall series winners getting an additional Dh10,000.
Spectators can watch for Dh55 while students pay Dh35 and participants pay Dh420.
