Dubai: Jewel Corner, a 7Cs Group company, will sponsor the UAE snooker and billiards national team this year, it was announced on Tuesday.
The 7Cs Group has sponsored UAE billiards for the past seven years and now the baton has been passed on to another of its subsidiaries, Jewel Corner.
Sultan Al Joker, general secretary of the UAE Snooker and Billiards Association, signed the agreement with Jewel Corner senior manager of HR and Admin, Roopesh George, and 7Cs Group vice-president of HR and Admin, M.K. Moorthi.
Al Joker thanked 7Cs Group for its eight years of sponsorship and the 7Cs Group congratulated the association on its recent success.
The UAE national team won the Gulf Tournament and the Arab Championship, as well winning all seven gold medals at the West Asian Snooker and Billiards Championship to win the championship trophy.
