Abu Dhabi: Following a successful Visa pre-sale period for the Fifa Club World Cup UAE 2017, the Local Organising Committee has now launched ticket sales to the general public — including the chance to snap up briefs to see Real Madrid.

Fans around the world can buy their tickets via Fifa.com/uae2017<http://www.FIFA.com/uae2017> and be part of one of the most eagerly-anticipated football tournaments ever in the Middle East, from December 6 — 16 in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi.

The 14th edition of the Fifa Club World Cup will feature six continental club champions.

Spain’s recently re-crowned Kings of Europe Real Madrid became the first European side to reach consecutive Fifa Club World Cup editions.

Second in line are Auckland City FC, who are set to make a record-breaking ninth appearance in the tournament, having claimed their third consecutive OFC Champions League title in May. The third team to book their place in Abu Dhabi, Mexico’s legendary C.F. Pachuca, have participated in the Fifa Club World Cup three times.

“Following a three month build-up since the official Emblem launch in April we have seen overwhelming demand for tickets during the Visa pre-sale and participation in the FIFA Club World Experience and Excitement roadshows,” said Aref Hamad Al Awani, Tournament Director of the Local Organising Committee.

“We encourage everyone to buy their tickets before they sell out and watch their favourite team compete for the title in the UAE this December,” added Al Awani.

In order to cater to every fan’s needs, there are a variety of different ticket types available on Fifa.com/UAE 2017 — Category 1, 2 and 3, Corporate Hospitality and Private Boxes are available upon request. Tickets begin from Dh20 for matches from the first round and from Dh80 for the final. Visa is the preferred payment method of the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2017, organisers said.
