Sharjah: Defending champions El Classico and First Kick Team entered the next round of the duFC UAE Streets Cup in Northern Emirates. Both the teams secured spots in the national semi-finals which will be hosted at the Sevens in Dubai on March 11 next year.
In their final matches of the knockout stage, El Classico defeated First Kick Academy 2-0 while Fist Kick Team beat Team Adnan 2-0.
LaLiga Scouts conducted the final trial for top talents seen over the past four weeks and will be revealing the top players from this region in the coming weeks in the only international youth football scouting platform in the nation conducted in partnership with LaLiga.
The top scorer of the day was Sayed Hussein Mohamed, 15-year old mid-fielder from First Kick Team who scored a whopping nine goals in his opening match. The most valuable player of Northern Emirates was Nassim Hessas from Just Do It team whose leadership and superior skills impressed the Scouts. Other promising players this week included Abdel Aziz Abdelhadi, Mohamed Fahim and Akram Al Mahi.
LaLiga Scout Raphael Gonzalez said, “Today during the matches we saw some very promising players. The young men from the UAE Streets Cup have the skills that we are looking for and we are certain that the final selection of talents this year will include some of this regions talents.”

Winners in each category face off against their counterparts from the Abu Dhabi and Dubai who they will meet for the first time at what promises to be a sensational semi-finals on March 11, 2017 in Dubai.
