Dubai: Al Wasl crashed to their second Asian Champions League defeat in two matches as they went down 1-0 to Uzbekistan’s Nasaf last night at the Markaziy Stadion in Qarshi.

Russian defender Igor Golban grabbed the only goal after 57 minutes for a deserved win in a match Nasaf dominated throughout.

The loss leaves the Dubai club bottom of Group C without a point. Nasaf moved off the bottom spot with the win.

Meanwhile, the draw to decide the venues for the two-leg Arabian Gulf Cup semi-finals was held at the UAE Football Association headquarters in Al Khawaneej on Tuesday.

Al Wahda will play Dibba at Zayed Sports City Stadium on March 9 from 5.45pm, while Al Wasl will visit Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Club at Rashid Stadium on the same day at 8.15pm. Return legs will be played on March 22 with Al Wahda travelling to face Dibba at Fujairah Stadium at 5.40pm and Al Wasl hosting Shabab Ahli at Al Wasl Stadium from 8.15pm.
