Dubai: Team Abu Dhabi won the Sun and Sand Sports’ ‘Conquer the Game’ 5-a-side tournament at the Koora Dome in Oud Metha on Friday.
More than 180 local teams and 1,000 players took part in the one-day event, which ran for a continuous 16-hours from 8am until midnight.
The winners were awarded a cumulative Dh21,000 in Sun and Sand Sports vouchers and all who participated were given the chance to customise their shirts.
The competition is part of Sun and Sand Sports’ commitment to encouraging healthy active lifestyles, the firm said.
