Dubai Simona Halep, Petra Matric, Iveta Benesova and Aleksandra Wozniak became the four qualifiers for the main draw with wins in yesterday's final round of qualifying here at the Dubai Duty Free Women's Open.

Halep, who was a losing semi-finalist at the 2011 Al Habtoor Tennis Challenge, did well to send Dutchwoman Arantxa Rus packing 6-2, 6-2, while Martic was a 6-4, 6-4 winner against Mona Barthel.
In the other two matches of the qualifying rounds, Benesova was an easy 6-1, 7-5 winner against Australian Casey Dellacqua and former world number 21 Aleksandra Wozniak took her time before powering her way to a 6-7, 7-6, 6-3 win against Polona Hercog.
