Dubai: UAE teenager Faris Al Janahi continued his unbeaten run with an emphatic win against third seed Adham Gabr in the quarter-finals of the 23rd Bank of Sharjah Marbella Resort Open Tennis Championships.

Al Janahi secured a 6-1, 6-0 win in his quarter-final against Gabr, a day after disposing off sixth-seed Omar Omar to secure a semi-final against second-seed Brent Dixon, a 6-2, 6-0 winner against eighth seed Attila McFerren.

In the upper half of the draw, top seed Puneet Varier will meet fourth seed Karim Sobh after both won in their quarter-finals.
