- Mahmoud Nader of Al Nasr returns against Khalid Al Hassani at the UAE Inter-Club Tennis Championship.
The Al Nasr side consisting of Hamad Abbas Al Janahi, Mahmoud Nader, Faisal Bastaki and Rashid Bushaqar were simply too good as they powered their way to a 2-0 win over the team from Al Wasl Club.
Nader got off to a fine start with a 6-1, 6-1 win over junior Khalid Al Hassani, while Al Janahi used his superior experience to defeat Ali Sharif 6-1, 6-2.

The annual tournament was played on the Davis Cup format of two singles and a doubles.
Each of the teams was allowed to field one expatriate player.
Al Wasl opted for Tunisia's Essam Al Jalali, who could not play for his club due to other prior commitments.
The other player on the team was former national team member Mohammad Abdul Aziz Al Nuaimi.
This year's competition saw a total of 48 teams from Al Nasr, Al Wasl, Fujairah Tennis and Country Club, Dubai Police and Dubai Municipality.
Al Nasr also helped themselves to titles in the boys under-10, under-12, under-14 and under-16 and girls under-14.
The Al Nasr dominance puts them as firm favourites to successfully defend their crown as the best club in the UAE at the end-of-season function to be held most likely next month.
