Dubai: Jason Robinson, England's rugby World Cup-winning legend, will host a coaching clinic for children at the Bahrain Rugby Football Club tomorrow.

Hosted by HSBC, the one-day coaching programme with their rugby ambassador Robinson will consist of rugby coaching and entertainment for an expected number of over 400 kids from the U6 to U17.

Patrick Gallagher, CEO of HSBC Bahrain, said: "The coaching clinic with HSBC Ambassador Jason Robinson in Bahrain represents a fantastic opportunity to take rugby into the local community and give kids the chance to coach with an international rugby legend. For HSBC, any partnership with rugby around the world must be about growing the game and in particular, getting more young people involved in the sport and it is great that we are able to do that here with our partnership with the Bahrain Rugby Football Club."

Also new this year, the HSBC Skills Zone - an interactive coaching and rugby games area - will be up and running, providing fun for coaches and players alike and developing the following skill sets required for the game of rugby - speed, agility, tackling, passing and diving.

Jason Robinson, meanwhile, said of the camp: "This is my first time in Bahrain and I'm looking forward to getting involved at the grassroots level to help get more children into the game of rugby through the HSBC programme. I'll be coaching and working on different drills and skills with the juniors and they will get to experience working as a team. As a player, it's nice to be able to put something back into the sport."
