Dubai: Sharjah Wanderers will host their annual Gulf News-sponsored Sharjah 10s tournament on Friday, with some star players set to feature.
Former New Zealand fly-half Carlos Spencer will join ex-South African fullback Conrad Jantjes and Tongan scrum-half Sililo Martens in the Early Learning Centre for Down Syndrome Awareness charity team.
Almost 300 players from 19 clubs from across the GCC region are set to take part, with ten teams in the men’s division and nine in the veterans. Action gets underway from 10am and runs until 7pm.
