Marcoussis, France: Racing Metro fullback Brice Dulin was included Sunday in France’s 31-man squad for next week’s Six Nations opener against Scotland.
Dulin was ruled out of the November Tests with a stress fracture in his left fibula then missed last month’s training camp in the south of France because of a problem with his right arm.
He has fully recovered and scored a solo try with his club in a 13-11 win at Lyon in the Top 14 on Saturday.
Dulin is among a group of eight players recalled by France coach Philippe Saint-Andre, alongside lock Alexandre Flanquart, third-row players Yannick Nyanga and Wenceslas Lauret, centers Remi Lamerat and Gakl Fickou and wingers Sofiane Guitoune and Noa Nakaitaci.
Center Alexandre Dumoulin remains sidelined by a leg injury and Saint-Andre called up Fickou as a replacement.
Toulon scrumhalf Sebastien Tillous-Borde, who had left the training camp held near Perpignan earlier this week with a knee injury, did not receive a call back, with Rory Kockott or Morgan Parra now expected to start at the Stade de France on February 7.
Still hampered by a thigh injury, Toulouse No. 8 Louis Picamoles only played 25 minutes with his club on Saturday and also missed the cut.
After hosting the Scots on February 7, France travel to Ireland the following week. They then host Wales before traveling to play Italy and finish with a potentially title-deciding clash with England at Twickenham.
The French finished fourth last year and last in 2013.
