Dubai: Wednesday marks 100 days to go until the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens, with organisers urging fans to get their tickets early.

The three-day event at Sevens Stadium from November 30 to December 2 will kick off the men’s and women’s World Rugby Sevens Series. Over 100,000 fans and 4,500 players are expected to get in on the action.

Tournament director Jim Fitzsimons said: “Preparations are well underway to ensure that each and every fan is captivated by this year’s Run Wild theme which they’ll see throughout the stadium at every touch point and interaction. We look forward to delivering an even bigger and better weekend with something for everyone.”

Ticket prices remain the same as last year with savings in store if you buy early. Admission is free on the Thursday, Dh400 a day if bought on the door for Friday and Saturday, but Dh300 a day if purchased in advance. Likewise, season tickets — encompassing all days — are Dh600 on the day or Dh500 if bought in advance. Children under the age of 12 get free admission.
