Dubai: Mousa Al Janahi produced a stunning finish to win the November edition of the UAE National Monthly Medal tournament, organised by the Emirates Golf Federation, at Al Badia Golf Club on Saturday.
The in-form golfer reeled off a staggering 10 points in his last three holes to tally an impressive 42 points, beating his nearest challenger Jamal Bin Marghoub by two points. Adel Al Zarouni finished a creditable third with 40 points.
Mohammad Al Musharrakh shot a gross 90 to walk away with the prestigious Best Gross prize while Nawaf Fawaz took the honours in Division A with 32 points. Ali Ahmad reigned supreme in Division B, taking the title with 35 points.
The day, however, belonged to Al Janahi. Apparently inspired by the presence of Shaikh Fahim Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Emirates Golf Federation, he went on a scoring spree from the outset.
Results: Winner: Mousa Al Janahi 42 points, 2. Jamal Bin Marghoub 40 pts, 3. Adel Al Zarouni 36 pts.
- Division A winner: Nawaf Fawaz 32 pts.
- Division B winner: Ali Ahmad 35 pts.
- Best gross: Mohammad Al Musharrakh 90.
