Abu Dhabi : UAE fans will be able to buy tickets for November's Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix a day before they go on sale for the rest of the world.
Tickets will be available at Abu Dhabi's Marina Mall and the Dubai Mall from 4pm on Sunday, May 16, before they go on sale worldwide at 10am (UAE time) on Monday, May 17. The race will take place at Yas Marina Circuit on November 14.
"... Because of the resulting global interest in this year's event it was important for us to make sure that the people of the UAE have a guaranteed opportunity to secure their tickets and be part of the celebrations in November... ," Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Yas Marina Circuit, said.
Ticket details:
Grandstand ticket: Dh1,800 for two days and Dh2,000 for three days, with the same pricing for all seats. Will be sold on May 16 in UAE with a 20 per cent discount for a limited period only.
Premium "Category 1" ticket: Dh4,250 for three days or Dh3,400 with a 20 per cent limited-period discount. Tickets will include balcony seating, air-conditioned lounges with food and beverage service, and VIP parking.
Paddock Club ticket: Starting from Dh14,480, these one, two or three-day tickets will provide a complete VIP experience.
