Dubai: The chief for Skoda UAE is quite in favour of a full-fledged rally team in the country, should there be takers for the whole idea.
"We would love to have more cars in the rallies out here, though we are aware of the logistical issues we would have to put up with," John Arnold of Skoda UAE told Gulf News.
"I have spoken to the Skoda distributors across the region to support an idea like this," Arnold said.
"But it may be a bit too early to disclose anything further on this matter," he added.
Much of the future for the cars would lie on the findings following the data collected by the team assembled for the Dubai International Rally. "So far, we have no plans to approach more teams. But for sure it would be a great idea to have a full Skoda rally team to enhance our presence in the region," Arnold added.
