Dubai: Leon Price and Rob Barff continued their domination of the NGK UAE GT season with their third victory from three races at the Dubai Autodrome yesterday.

The duo led from pole to flag through all 38 laps in their AUH Motorsport-prepared Ferrari 458 Italia, ending with a winning margin of just under 40 seconds.

Second were Frederic Fatien and Fabien Giroix in the Gulf First Lamborghini LP560, while Ray Bignell and Graeme Hannah earned the Cytech Drive of the Day after finishing sixth in their Emal Porsche on their season's debut.

GTC class drivers John Iossifidis and Martin Baerschmidt scored their first victory of the season in their Gulf First-prepared Aston Martin. In the Motorcity UAE Sportbikes races, Nasser Al Shaiba guided his BMW to two victories in the 1000 class.

There were also two wins for Mahmoud Tannir on his Triumph Daytona 675 in the 600 class. And Surya Raja won his first ever race in the Rookie class — and quickly followed it up with his second on his Yamaha YZF R6.

Zaamin Jaffer and Joe Ghanem took a win apiece in the Formula Gulf 1000 races, while Mohammad Al Mutawa was third over the line in both races — although in race two he was penalised after a coming together with Natasha Seatter on the final lap.

In the first round of the new season of the Suzuki Swift Cup, Bashar Mardini won both races, followed both times by Maurice Faber and Panagiotis Karakoulis.
