Brad Keselowski’s brakes fail as he pulls in for a tyre change, sending his teammates sprawling
A Nascar driver nearly took out his whole pit crew when hit brakes failed during a pit stop at a race in Pennsylvania.
Brad Keselowski sent his teammates flying during the Pocono Raceway event on Sunday, but amazingly they recovered to complete the tyre change needed on the Ford car.
It all seemed perfectly normal as Keselowski initially pulled in for the type of mid-race stop he has performed thousands of times for Team Penske.
But soon it was clear something had gone wrong as the crew were scattered all over the pit lane following the technical error.
Luckily they were all wearing adequate safety gear and as a result no-one was seriously hurt.
But a tyre was sent flying on to the track, meaning the race had to be restarted and Keselowski was given a penalty.
However, he stormed back to finish second in the Windows 10 400 race.
