Singapore: Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone admits there are doubts about whether next month's Korean Grand Prix will go ahead.
Speaking at the Singapore Grand Prix yesterday, Ecclestone said he thought the race would proceed, but added that doubts will remain until the Yeongam track passes an upcoming FIA inspection.
"Until it's on there's always concerns obviously," Ecclestone said. "We have to get lucky and hope it will happen."
The uncompleted Yeongam track was initially scheduled for an inspection on September 21, but that was a holiday in Korea.
Korean race officials were attending the Singapore Grand Prix, where they were holding talks about scheduling a new inspection. The race was set for October 24.
