The second Dubai Autodrome Karting Endurance will be held on November 24-25.

The 1.2-km Kartdrome CIK certified track will host this second race of the three-series championship with support from Nivea.

The 24-hour event attracted 18 teams in its first race in May and is set to attract more than 25 teams this time.

The overall championship winning team will take part in the 24-hour Le Mans in France.

The first race was won by EMSF who lead Masafi by 5 points and One and Only Platinum by 8 points.

The activities will start on November 24, with registration followed by free practice and qualifying in the afternoon. The race will start late in the afternoon and will finish the same time the following day.

The competing teams will use the Kartdrome karts, which are manufactured by Sodikart.

The Karts are equipped with a 390cc single Honda engines and offer top-level performance and handling.

Each team consists of four to 10 drivers who are more than 16 years old.

Drivers are required to wear full safety equipment and the allotment of karts will be drawn by ballot. No technical modifications will be allowed to the karts.

Teams registering prior to September 15 will be given a discount.

David Terrien, triple world champion and manager of the Kartdrome, said: "The first event was a huge success and considering the interest shown by our regular customers, we expect to attract more than 25 teams this time."
