Abu Dhabi: Bruno Senna, the Hispania Racing Team driver and nephew of the late Ayrton Senna, paid tributes to his uncle after watching a screening of a movie on the legend.

Senna-the Movie is expected to be released later this fortnight but Senna, who watched the screening, said it was "awesome" and brought back a lot of memories of the man who had won three Formula One World Championships.

"I watched it for the first time last night; the movie's awesome," said Bruno during Thursday's Brazilian GP pre-race press conference.

"It reminded me of so many things that just got dulled by time. It's very special for me, I think for anyone who's a racing driver it's going to be quite special, whoever was a fan of Ayrton," he said.

Senna was tragically killed in a crash while leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix.

"For people who didn't know Ayrton, they will have a pretty good image of what Ayrton was all about. It's not a movie about racing itself but it's a movie about the life of Ayrton, the implications of what he did in his life.

"It feels very special and definitely brought back many memories, good memories and some sad memories as well, of course," Bruno said.

Two other Brazilian drivers, Rubens Barrichello and Felipe Massa also paid tributes to the late champion though the duo was yet to see the movie.
