Abu Dhabi: Mohammad Beloushi, arguably the most successful and popular Emirati motocross rider in the history of the sport in the UAE, will defend the Emirati honour in the FIM motorcycles category at the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge, starting this weekend.
On this 25th edition of this prestigious event, Beloushi will team up with Abu Dhabi-based satellite solutions provider Yahsat and Sports2. Masood M. Sharif Mahmoud, CEO Yahsat, said: “Yahsat is delighted to be sponsoring Mohammad Beloushi on this event. Our company shares the same adventurous spirit with Beloushi, as pioneering ambassadors for the UAE”.
Beloushi will be the only Emirati motorcycle rider competing in FIM category. “I am very excited about racing the Challenge again and feel very proud of having the support of the companies that are accompanying me in this quest. Being the only UAE National in the bikes category is a big responsibility, and I would love to see many more of my fellow Emirati riders signing up and supporting our sport in the country.
