Dubai: Reigning Champion Abdullah Al Rawahi secured a second win in as many rounds in the Junior Max 125, while brother Sanad Al Rawahi went one better with three wins in three rounds in the Senior Max 125 during Round Three action of Al Ain Raceway's AARKC Rotax Max Challenge on Friday.

With the younger Al Rawahi taking his second win, the battle for second spot was between Cyrus Engineer and Ameer Hassan, and that was decided at the start of the last lap when Hassan found a way by and held on.

Sanad, meanwhile, had no opposition as he led from start to finish without hindrance to make it three wins in-a-row and sit atop the points standings. Patrick Jarjour was his closest competition in second place after narrowly beating Nikita Miliakov.

Andrew Fuller was once again the best in the Max Masters class as he now leads the class to sit strongly at the top of the table. Second place was won by Luc Bauwmans, who after a shaky opening round in September bounced back into contention while Walid Al Qasimi made full use of his brand new kart to finish third.

Reigning UAE champion Mohammad Al Daheri took the top honours in the DD2 125 (gearbox class) leaving debutant Georg Vann in second while Shaikh Hasher Al Maktoum completed the podium. In the Cadet class, Taymour Kermanshahchi continued his dominance with another lights-to-flag victory.
