Dubai: Al Nabooda Racing will steer clear of any change in tactics as they look to clinch a second successive team title in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East after dominating the first half of the 2013-14 season.

With six of 12 rounds completed, the defending champions from Dubai hold a commanding 38-point lead in the team title race, and the pairing of Clemens Schmid and Karim Al Azhari return to action at Qatar’s Losail International Circuit this weekend brimming with confidence.

At the same stage last season, the Al Nabooda Racing duo held a strong but less emphatic 20-point cushion over the Saudi Falcons, who are their closest challengers again this term.

“The competition this season is particularly fierce, and it’s taken a tremendous performance from Clemens and Karim to give us such a big advantage at the half-way point,” said Team Manager Vijay Rao.
