Abu Dhabi: UAE residents and international travellers are being urged to purchase their 2016 Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix tickets within the 20 per cent discount period, which runs until July 31.

Tickets for the Yas Marina Circuit extravaganza in November are selling out fast, organisers said on Wednesday, with the Friday Grand Prix Brunch package and three-day West Grandstand tickets having already sold out.

Due to demand, however, organisers have introduced two new tickets: the Friday West Grandstand ticket starting from Dh525 and the Friday Extreme Brunch at Yas Trackside Terrace.

Situated on the terrace at Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management HQ, the limited tickets allow race fans to enjoy the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix action mere metres away from the venue. Both tickets can be booked online.

Racegoers buying the tickets will not only be able to witness Formula One racing action but also enjoy this year’s Yasalam After-Race Concerts, which will include performances from The Chemical Brothers on Friday, November 25, and Rihanna on Sunday, November 27, as the only Middle East date on her ‘ANTI WORLD TOUR’ at the du Arena, Yas Island, with more artists still to be announced.

For the first time, ticketholders to the GP will also get extra value by getting free access to exclusive Yas Island experiences during race weekend, including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld, Abu Dhabi.

Only those who have purchased an F1 ticket will be eligible to enjoy the Yasalam After-Race Concerts and be able to gain free access to the Yas Island entertainment.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.yasmarinacircuit.com and through the Yas Marina Circuit Call Centre by calling +971026599800.
