Abu Dhabi: Thursday marks the 100-day countdown to the 2016 Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, with organisers encouraging racegoers to buy their tickets as soon as possible.

Yas Marina Circuit bosses on Wednesday said that Friday Brunch packages and West Grandstand tickets have already sold out.

Those that have already purchased tickets can expect delivery to commence on September 20.

With a constant focus on improving the already high standards of customer service, according to organisers, Yas Marina Circuit will also announce an upgrade to its already rich YasHUB smartphone app, with ‘AskYAS’.

This will provide instant answers and at-a-glance information on seating, entertainment and transport around the circuit – and other important questions that visitors may have.

This year, the F1 ticket price not only includes world-class racing action, but also gives racegoers access to the 2016 Yasalam After-Race Concerts.

Performances include The Chemical Brothers (#ChemBrosAtF1) on Friday, November 25, and Rihanna on Sunday, November 27 as the only Middle East date on her ‘ANTI WORLD TOUR’ at the du Arena, Yas Island, with more artists to be announced shortly.

For the first time, ticket-holders will receive exclusive access to the Yas Island experiences throughout the race weekend, including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld, Abu Dhabi.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.yasmarinacircuit.com or via the Yas Marina Circuit Call Centre +971 (0) 2 659 9800.
