Abu Dhabi: There is limited availability of tickets for this weekend’s 2015 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, according to the Yas Marina circuit.

With Main, West and Marina Grandstands already sold out, there are less than 1,500 tickets left and organisers are urging the public to act quickly with just a small number of North and South Grandstand tickets remaining to be sold.

The event is expected to fully sell out its 60,000 capacity within days, as Abu Dhabi counts down to the Middle East’s biggest and best sporting and entertainment weekend and prepares to welcome not just the Formula 1 season closer, but a whole array of activities and fun.

Alongside the headline international artists including Enrique Iglesias, Florence + The Machine and Blur, some of the Arab world’s leading vocalists and musicians like DJ Saeed Mrad, Aryam, Fares Karam and Cheb Khalid will also perform.

Around the Oasis areas, a host of bands, DJs and soloists, as well as street and stunt shows covering everything from parkour and acrobatics to caricature and magic shows will give local and overseas visitors yet another weekend to remember as they soak up the glamour and excitement of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

On the track, Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg will be going all out to beat each other at the scene of their epic battle last year. There will also be a thrilling last-ditch scramble among the rest of the top six for the best possible finish. Motor racing fans will also get to enjoy the last flourish of the GP2 and GP3 seasons at Yas Marina Circuit.

“The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is upon us and we are obviously delighted to be well on course for yet another sellout weekend,” said Al Tareq Al Ameri, CEO of Yas Marina Circuit.

“Our unique blend of racing and world-class entertainment has once again proved successful in attracting people from all over the world to enjoy this premier weekend event.

“Everything is ready at the circuit and we encourage all our fans yet to buy their tickets to do so now, and book their seat for the weekend ahead.”

Tickets are available online at www.yasmarinacircuit.com and through the Yas Marina Circuit Call Centre (800 927) or +971 (0) 2 659 9800, as well as through all Etihad Shops and Virgin Megastores.
