Abu Dhabi: Yas Marina Circuit has announced the entertainment in store for the spectators in the Oasis areas at this year's Formula 1TM Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Beyond the thrill of watching the on-track race action, ticket holders will be able to enjoy an array of off-track activities including race simulators, mini golf, pool rooms, street performers, live bands and DJs.

"Our responsibility is to make sure everyone coming to the race has a great time," said Mark Hughes, director of operations at Yas Marina Circuit. "The entertainment throughout the Oasis areas is designed to create a festival-like atmosphere so that the fun continues both on and off the track. No matter what your age, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

"Children have all-day entertainment at dedicated kid's zones, inflatable games zones, skateboard and BMX demonstrations, as well as karting at the Yas Kartzone," continued Hughes. "Ladies can be pampered in Spa areas; diehard fans have the chance to drive an F1 simulator and meet their favourite drivers at autograph sessions; families and friends can enjoy crocket at the Lawn Game Zone or test their skills at the Pit Stop Challenge; whilst the stage areas will be packed with live acts. It's three days of nonstop fun for all."

The on-stage entertainment will include: Abu Dhabi Big Band, Skitzophonic, numerous well-known regional DJ's including DJ Shadia, as well as dance crews Diverse and Swat Crew.

In addition, Abu Dhabi's Got Talent will feature traditional Emirati performances and the UAE's very own Football Freestylers.

A selection of Grandstand tickets are still available in the South and Marina Grandstands, priced at Dh1,800 for two days and Dh2,000 for three days.

Ticket-holders will also have exclusive access to the race concerts featuring Britney Spears, Incubus and Paul McCartney. For more information visit www.yasmarinacircuit.ae or call 800 YAS (927).
